Where to Go
Downtown Eagle
Downtown Eagle is a charming and vibrant area that exudes small-town charm with a touch of modern flair. Its quaint streets are lined with unique boutiques, cozy cafes, and local eateries, creating a welcoming atmosphere where residents and visitors can gather, shop, and savor the local flavors.
Eagle Greenbelt
The Boise River Greenbelt is a 25-mile long pathway that stretches from Lucky Peak Dam to Eagle Island State Park. The tree-lined pathway allows for scenic views, wildlife habitat, and access to many of the city’s popular parks and fishing spots.
Heritage Park
Heritage Park, located in Downtown Eagle, houses a charming gazebo and an interactive water feature that is a local favorite during the summer months. The gazebo is open to the public and transforms into a lively center of entertainment, hosting a variety of events throughout the year.
Eagle Island
Eagle Island State Park spans across 545 acres and offers a range of recreational activities for day-use visitors. The park is known for its well-frequented swimming beach, expansive grassy picnic area, exhilarating waterslide, and over five miles of trails, perfect for horseback riding, hiking, dog walking, or even a friendly game of disc golf.

Eagle is home to nine public parks! From sports complexes and dog parks, to playgrounds and splash pads, there is plenty of fun to be had for everyone, all year!
What to Do:
Walk, bike, or run the Greenbelt
The Eagle portion of the Boise river Greenbelt spans from Eagle Island State Park to Garden City. The tree-lined pathway trails through the city and multiple parks for an abundance of beautiful views and wildlife. Pedestrians, bikers, runners, and dog walkers are welcome to enjoy the scenic pathways.
Visit a winery
Spend a day or evening sipping Idaho wine at one of Eagle’s three wineries: Rolling Hills Vineyard, 3 Horse Ranch Vineyards, or Dude DeWalt Cellars.
Stop by the Eagle Saturday Market
From May through October the Eagle Saturday Market welcomes residents and visitors to enjoy delicious food, handmade crafts, and live music. The Eagle Saturday Market hosts local vendors every Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm at Heritage Park in Downtown Eagle.
Play a round at BanBury Golf Course
Crafted by the talented John Harbottle III, BanBury Golf Course winds its way alongside the picturesque South Channel of the Boise River, blending the sport of golf with the surrounding natural habitat. This challenging 6,890-yard par 71 public course has consistently earned a spot among the top ten golf courses in Idaho, as recognized by Golf Digest over the past eight years
Get active at Ada/Eagle Sports Complex
The Ada / Eagle Sports Complex is located on Old Horseshoe Bend Road and boasts many leisure and recreational features like basketball courts, bike trails, a BMX course, a skatepark, picnic areas, and restrooms.
Catch a race at Firebird Raceway
With a schedule packed with nearly fifty racing days per season, the NHRA member track kicks off its annual events in April, captivating fans and racers alike until mid-October. Throughout the season, the track attracts an impressive multitude of enthusiasts and participants, with attendance reaching tens of thousands.
Spend the day at Eagle Island
Eagle Island is an adventure playground all year! In the summer months visitors can enjoy the swimming beach, paddleboarding or kayaking, the waterslide, disc golf course, and the five miles of trails. And during the winter, adults and kids alike will enjoy endless fun at Gateway Parks tubing hill.
Tour the Eagle Museum of History & Preservation
Inside the Eagle Museum of History and Preservation you can find a diverse range of artifacts, documents, and historic photographs that collectively narrate the captivating tale of Eagle's evolution and progress. Since opening in 2001, the museum has remained deeply committed to preserving and sharing the rich heritage of Eagle with the public.
Pay tribute at the Eagle Field of Honor
Join the City of Eagle every Memorial Day at the Field of Honor. The event features a breathtaking exhibition of hundreds of large U.S. flags mounted on 8 ft poles, meticulously arranged in perfect rows across a lush green field. Its purpose is to pay tribute to all veterans and active-duty service members who have selflessly dedicated themselves to safeguarding our nation's security and freedom.

Gateway Parks
A snowy adventure doesn't have to entail a day trip or miles on the car. We have our own premier snow tubing park right here in the Valley, allowing locals to “ride where you reside!". Located in Eagle Island State Park, Gateway Parks offers the ultimate snow tubing experience, holiday magic, and fun for the entire family.

Eagle Fun Days & Parade:
Join the City of Eagle every July for Eagle Fun Days! This two-day event in the streets of downtown Eagle is full of family fun, music, activities, food, and surprises. A few highlights include fireworks at Guerber Park and the Wet & Wild Parade. It is a great weekend for the whole family.
